The clock starts here (A new era begins)

Last night felt like the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another.

I won the first annual Pez Watley Invitational Tournament. On that same night, I announced that on January 9, 2027, ROUND 1 will debut in collaboration with One Fall Wrestling and PRODUCE, introducing the M.A.G. style to the world.

For me, these two moments will always be connected.

I’ve spent most of my life in professional wrestling, learning it, performing it, questioning it, and eventually trying to understand what I can contribute to it beyond my own matches.

M.A.G. is part of that answer.

It isn’t my attempt to tell the wrestling world that there is only one way to do this. It’s my attempt to make sure another way continues to exist. I want to preserve what I’ve learned, continue learning from others, and pass those ideas forward to anyone who finds value in them.

I’ve decided to look at the next 20 years of my life in wrestling as one complete lifecycle.

Twenty years to wrestle.
Twenty years to teach.
Twenty years to document.
Twenty years to preserve.
Twenty years to build something that doesn’t need me in order to survive.

I don’t know exactly what this will become. I actually don’t want to know.

I want to document it honestly, the successes, failures, changes in philosophy, people I meet, students who surpass me, and lessons I haven’t learned yet.

So I’m writing this down now, at the beginning.

September 2026.

I won the Pez Watley Invitational.

I announced ROUND 1.

And the clock started.

Let’s see where the next 20 years take us.
